Contrary to popular belief, a stubborn issue such as an Android unlock will be far simpler if you know what you’re doing. Whenever simple troubleshooting is involved, follow these five tips so you can get back to using your device sooner.

Plug in a Charger

Most of the time, a blank iPhone or Android screen can be resolved with a quick charge and reset. You may not have noticed the battery level or the notifications that you need to plug it in, and at the end of the day, you could be surprised that the device has a black screen. For this, plug your charger into a wall, connect it to your phone, and see if the screen comes on.

Complete a Soft Reset

A phone reset can be done using only hardware buttons, but the process might be different for each manufacturer and model. As a general rule, try to research how to on the internet and try it out. The device will either reset and go to the home screen or display an error message.

Try to Turn the Phone On

It happens to the best of us- thinking that our smartphones are dead when it has just shut off for some reason. It’s a simple fix that doesn’t require any software tool or troubleshooting. All you need to do is press and/or hold the power button until the boot message comes on.

Attempt a Recovery Using a Repair Tool

Don’t give up when all the other tips above fail. It’s still possible to carry out a home repair using a proven tool like Wondershare Dr.fone for all kinds of error messages and locked screen issues.

Look for Similar Device Problems Online

It’s also helpful to check online and see if users are having the same problems. Read more and find out if they arrived at a fix.
