Transitioning from a house to living in a condo isn’t as easy (or hard) as you’d think. Most of the problem lies in making all your items fit. However, you can easily move into The Sen and turn your new condo into a place you can call home with these smart tips.

Before Moving

Arguably the most difficult phase in moving, it’s a time when you need to pack up your belongings so they can be moved via a truck.

This is where all the planning happens. However, before you even think of packing, you’ll need to sort out the things you won’t need in the new house. Check every room and go through them, and put the things you won’t need in one pile. That pile can be donated to a local charity or sold online, or at a garage sale.

Alternatively, you can consider local storage near the condo. Keep the items that have a sentimental or important value there, such as keepsakes, antique furniture, and the like.

During the Move

While moving, it’s best to adopt a positive mindset. Too much stress can drain your or your family members’ energies, which isn’t good at a crucial time. Keep yourself hydrated and nourished, and use a navigational app while driving to save time and headaches.

After the Move

After the things have been brought to the new condo, it’s time to unpack and put the finishing touches. Decorating is important, especially if you want it to be as comfortable as your old house.

Prioritize the essentials, such as the bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom, before anything else. Your clothes and toiletries first, then food and other creature comforts. Map out the room and how it would look with furniture before placing the heavy items. Finalize with your personal style and touch.
