Condos with great locations, such as the One Sophia, offer an opportunity for people to work from home. Enjoy the benefits of living in a beautiful and conducive space with these five ways to boost productivity while doing WFH projects.

Clear Your Desk of Distractions

The first rule of productivity is working without interruptions or distractions, so it makes total sense that you do this. At the start of the day, clear your desk of anything that isn’t related to work, e.g., toys, a handheld gaming device, or leftover food packages from the day before.

Play Relaxing Music to Help You Focus

Relaxing music is good to have in the background since it doesn’t distract you or interrupt your flow. If you prefer, you can choose music or beats that improve focus or concentration as long as it does the job.

Take Frequent Breaks

This may sound counterintuitive, but having frequent breaks will prove to be beneficial in a work-from-home setting. A 10-15 minute break for every hour worked can clear your mind and let you refresh and focus on the next work session. Just remember to get back on track and not get distracted.

Schedule the Work

Having a clear view of the workday ahead in the morning can make you more efficient. Tackle the more important projects first, then if there’s still time, do the small ones after. You can use technology, specifically calendar and reminder apps, for this. Or, do it the manual way and post sticky notes or on your computer’s notepad.

Get Enough Rest

A well-rested individual is more productive than one who’s deprived of sleep. More energy means you can stay focused and complete the day’s work. Make it a priority to rest at least 6 hours on a weekday.
