The holidays often see thousands and thousands of people swarming around malls, looking for gifts. Crowded places are spots where most infections spread and possibly ruin your chances of having a healthy holiday. The next time you’re heading out to the nearest shopping place from your condo at Narra Residences, consider these 5 tips.

Sleep Early

Some snoozing isn’t bad. Don’t worry about missing one activity, unless it’s absolutely important. Sleeping for more than 8 hours daily can enhance your immune system and act as a barrier to germs and viruses.

Maintain Healthy Habits

Healthy habits such as cleaning the room often, sleeping well, checking for pests, and avoiding overcrowded places can significantly contribute to your health being intact. Be active every day, and limit sweets if necessary.

Eat Healthy

Aim for a balanced diet as a habit, not just during the holidays. Refrain from too many snacks and candies that may disrupt your appetite or cause a sore throat. Plus, lessen salty food and always have fruits or veggies when having a meal.

Create a Holiday Schedule

Make a holiday schedule that will keep you happy, fit, and healthy at the same time. This can help you prepare for the holidays and prevent laziness. The schedule, for example, may have a curfew, sleeping schedule, and an exercise regimen, for instance.

Keep Germs Away As Much as Possible

Vaccines boost immunity, therefore reducing the chances of germs getting into your body. Every once in a while, get another vaccine for better chances. Additionally, always maintain a cleanliness habit, such as taking a bath and washing your hands regularly.

Wear Masks

Specifically, masks that cover both your mouth and nose. This prevents you from breathing in germs in the air that can get into your body and cause an illness when going out. But mainly, try to avoid areas where tons of people go.
