Team building activities are always a great idea, as they promote teamwork, camaraderie, and work-life balance. The next time your company gives you a budget for some time off and much-needed rest and relaxation, try these five fun team-building events.

Carnival Fair Games

Everyone enjoys carnival fun fair games no matter how old they are. There’s something so enjoyable in trying out simple games of skill, and it’s perfect for any corporate event, team-building activity, or children’s party. Luckily, you won’t have to go to a nearby carnival to enjoy them, as games can be rented and brought to a venue of your choosing.

Arcade Games

Arcade games are similar to fun fair games except the machines are slightly more complicated. They come from a golden era of arcade games with pixel graphics, and fan favorites such as claw machines and such. On your next team-building event, rent a few of them and place them where they can be seen.

Live Food Stations

Live food stations can vary from carnival favorites to staples in your country. Snacks and sweets are great as well, including cotton candy, popcorn, and french fries, to name a few. Food stations go well with just about any other activity your company has, so keep it in mind the next time you have a meeting or a part.

Escape Room

Escape rooms are themed activities where teams work to solve puzzles within a set time limit. You can choose from survival to horror and several more themes. It promotes teamwork and collaboration, which can translate well in the office or workplace.

Sports Day

Last but not least, sports day is a popular corporate event where teams compete against each other in sports like tug of war, basketball, or running. The winning teams get prizes and bragging rights.
