Virtual home tours are an alternative to going from one place to another and visiting potential homes.

Here are 4 tips to make the most of your virtual home tours.

Get a Floor Plan

It’s easy to get confused and lost when you’re taking a virtual tour of a house or condo you’ve never seen before. However, you can get a ‘map’ of the place (and therefore get your bearings better) when you get a floor plan.

Floor plans of The Watergardens Showflat, for example may be available online. If so, make sure to download and have it open on another device or print it out so you can make notes as necessary.

Write Down Important Details

Home showings are opportunities to collect information that will prove to be game-breakers when you’re down to two or three units.

It’s best to have an open notepad or a traditional pen and pad so you can check the lighting on each room, appliance brands and where the power outlets are located, among others.

Don’t Be Afraid to Ask Questions

Just like traditional home viewings, you must not be afraid to ask questions while on tour. Going on a trip to Watergardens @ Canberra, for instance you may have a lot of questions regarding the price, location and other things, so it’s best to write it down and keep it handy.

Don’t Forget to See the Outside

The outside of a house is also important, and this applies to condos as well. The Clavon Condo may have extra amenities or features that can play a role in your decision.

Real estate agents will usually conduct an inside tour first, then outside if there’s still time (or if anyone asks). You can be the one to request the outdoor tour if no one else did. Then, check back to see if you missed anything and ask the agent about it.
