Upgrading your Faber Residence doesn’t exactly mean breaking the bank. You can give your rooms a fresh look by finding good deals, a bit of DIY, and smart choices. Here are 6 tips on how you can achieve this goal.

Declutter and Rearrange

The first thing you can do to upgrade is free and only costs a bit of time. Something as simple as rearranging your existing furniture can give it a new look. Decluttering can clear up some space and give the space an airy and comfortable appearance.

Add a Mirror and Wall Art

Adding a mirror gives the illusion of size and makes a room look bigger. If you’re on a budget, then it’s best to browse thrift shops or online deals. At the same time, you can create a gallery wall of your favorite photos or some DIY art for an accent wall.

Greenery for a Fresher and Natural Look

Plants and similar greenery are cheap, but they brighten up a room significantly. There are some indoor plants that are nice and require very little care, but you’ll have to do some research to see if they’re suitable for your place.

Change Your Lighting

Upgrading the lights is more than just switching to a smart LED bulb. The idea is that good lighting makes a house more inviting not just for the guests but its inhabitants as well. You should also consider LED strip lights and wall lights, and letting the sun in once in a while.

New Interior Colors

Sometimes all you need is a fresh coat of paint. Paint can dramatically change how a room looks, but you’ll have to be careful of which color you choose.

Consider Upcycled Furnishings

Lastly, you can redecorate a room by changing the furnishings. Add soft elements such as throw pillows and replace dated curtains with roller blinds or sheer curtains.
