Google smart display owners can now watch Netflix using their Nest Hub Max or Nest Hub via the Assistant or Google Home app.
Google’s smart displays are already versatile devices in their own right, but the most recent move to include Netflix takes things to a whole new level.
You can now link your Netflix account to the device using the Assistant or Google Home app and watch videos on the smart display. After setting it up, you can have Google Assistant open Netflix and choose what you want to watch using voice command or the display’s touchscreen interface.
The Nest Hub Max also gains a nifty Netflix feature- raise your hand while looking at the screen and the content will be paused or resume playing.
Google holds the advantage against Amazon in terms of integration with Assistant and Photos. The addition of Netflix makes it the top choice over Facebook Portal and the Echo Show.
