LG’s mid-range smartphone will be available in the US on July 22.

Velvet has 5G support right out of the gate and will debut in partnership with AT&T. Those interested can sign up for a new line and get the phone for only $10 per month in a 30-month period.

The LG Velvet has 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM and is priced at $600. This does not include the Dual Screen attachment and is sold separately for $199. An unlocked model will not be available, but the smartphone will be sold by Verizon and T-Mobile later this year.

The innards of the Velvet is interesting. It packs a Snapdragon 765G and a 4,300 mAh battery that should give owners a whole day of use. Furthermore, it has IP68 waterproofing and a generous 6.8 inch OLED screen.

LG confirms that their smartphone will be able to connect to Verizon’s mmWave 5G network and the sub-6GHz network as well.
