Even in a small space like a condo, you can pursue your hobby as long as you manage and plan it right. Here are some tips and tricks for enjoying your hobbies without a studio, garage or basement, and the need for bulky tools and equipment.

Be a hobbyist

Identify if you are in the hobby for itself or if you are interested in the things that make the hobby. Collecting could be easy and fun, but taking the time to learn and improve is harder. To pursue your hobbies in a luxury condo like Penrith, you could also just learn the skill and put them to practical use, compared to collecting items which will eventually take up space and make your unit feel cluttered.

Do one project at a time

Try focusing on one hobby or project at a time and not moving on from one project to another once it gets boring, which could sometimes lead to stress and anxiety. Focusing your time and effort into one hobby lets you get things done, like finally finishing a Lego set you’ve been wanting to build, or a 1000pc puzzle set.

Think ahead

When considering a hobby, you will have to think of what to do with the output, like a building block set, painting, or diorama building. What are your plans with them? Will you hang them in a frame on your wall, put them in a display cabinet, or store and put away? Consider giving them as gifts, recycling, or donating.

Stay organized

Keep your things organized and neat, especially when you live in a small space or are trying to adapt to the lifestyle of a minimalist. Keep your things for your hobbies tucked away in proper storage boxes. By doing so, you will also be able to clean and set up your hobby corner, and easily resume your activities. Planning what to do with it can prevent finished projects from cluttering your condo.
